This is going to sound ridiculous, but all the cool people in Maine are eating tinned mackerel. Some might be trying to go against the grain by proclaiming allegiance to a fish traditionally used for bait. Others probably just, you know, ate it and were like “oh this is a distinctively flavorful fish is loaded health benefits thanks to high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, an excellent source of selenium, niacin, and B vitamins.” Who is to say! Anyways, this mackerel is caught via rod and reel in the Gulf Of Maine.
